When a death is reported to Madina Masjid, our team moves quickly to support the family: we arrange respectful transport to the masjid or an approved facility, perform the ritual washing (ghusl) and shrouding (kafan) according to the Sunnah, and organize the Salat‑ul‑Janazah for the community to attend. We handle required permits and coordinate with cemetery authorities to schedule the burial, ensuring the body is placed respectfully and, where appropriate, oriented toward the Qiblah. Throughout every step the masjid provides compassionate support to relatives, recitation of the Qur’an, and collective dua for the deceased and the grieving family.
In addition to the Board there are several administrative bodies and committees that work for the community. You can contact any one of the committees by emailing them.
Provide the deceased’s details so our team can coordinate care and funeral arrangements promptly. Please include the full name, date and time of death, location, and a primary contact for any follow-up.
Request a headstone or marker with inscription details, materials, and any supporting documents. Provide clear wording for the inscription and any plot information to avoid delays.
